Volunteer recognition night.

 
Ethiopian society of Winnipeg awarded a plaque and certificate in recognition of outstanding volunteer service during the fund raising campaign. The event was attended on March 15, 2003 by those who were invited and other community members. Mr. Zegeye, Taye the president presented the award and certificate to the awardees. Certificate and plaque was presented to the following people:

Ms Pearl Gottachalk:  recognized and awarded a plaque for her outstanding and exceptional work on the fund raising dinner event. Pearl, have been able to promote the event through out the city and have been able to advertise the event on the universities Radio and other communications. Pearl Was able to sale more than 60 tickets.

Aynalem Ali, was recognized for her contribution on selling raffle ticket which raised $395.00 during the fund raising dinner evening and for maiking close to 400 injera.

Ejigagyhu Tiruneh, was recognized for her contribution on cooking as well as serving the guests.
 
Fikerte Desta, for her outstanding public relation work, contacting all the organization and ministers government representatives other organization that would donate for the cause.

Gelila Yirga, for her contribution on serving guests and participating with the dance group.
The flollowing following people have contributed on promoting and Selling tickets for the dinner event.
